ABSTRACT
The computer-aided design (CAD) examples presented here consist of all components of design, solid modeling, assembly, finite element analysis (FEA), and cost analysis, as well as tolerance and codes wherever possible. Design engineers should design components within the codes and standards, including tolerance and allowances for the components designed. The design materials selected must be possible to manufacture, and so manufacturing methods of some components are also discussed.
