ABSTRACT
A discussion of the phase volume method applied to half-linear difference equations can be found in [7] .
Next, we give an example for impulsive systems. In it, we combine the well known harmonic oscillator and the half-linear difference equation in Example 4 with a(t) == 1 . Although both of the original systems are stable, this construction results in a system with a saddle-point at the origin.
