ABSTRACT
Every cooling tower is a unique building and has its own special requirements. The cooling tower do Ribatejo seems on the first glance to be a straight forward structure without higher demands.
On a closer look this cooling tower presented the designer and contractor with three aspects which required closer attention:
– the foundation – the consideration of earthquake – a penalized finish date for the shell.
