The British specifications dealing with the design aspects of cold formed products for use in building form different parts of BS 5950. The various parts of this standard are as follows:
Thus, of the nine parts of BS 5950, four deal specifically with cold formed steel construction and another two are concerned with utilisation of cold formed steel in conjunction with other materials.
