In problems with mixed boundary conditions, displacements are pre scribed on dS i and normal boundary moments and forces are pre scribed on dS 2 . In this chapter we consider such problems only for the homogeneous equilibrium equation, since we have seen that the corresponding general problems can be reduced to the homogeneous case by means of appropriate area potentials.
