ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the troubleshooting procedures for 13 common symptoms related to centrifugal pump problems. In addition, the information provided is designed to assist the maintenance operator determine the possible causes and remedies for centrifugal pump problems. The best source of troubleshooting information is the pump manufacturer. The troubleshooting suggestions and the charts provided by the manufacturer often make it possible for an operator to identify a problem and correct it on his/her own.
