ABSTRACT
Coming further north in the Gulf of Bothnia the activity concentration decreases and reaches a very low value at the western part of the northernmost stations in the Bay of Bothnia with about 25 mBq/1 Cs 137. The contamination of the Baltic Proper is also remarkable low with values of around 30 to 40 mBq/1 Cs 137. Only in the western Baltic Sea, sligthly higher values are found.
