ABSTRACT
An appropriate designed central system will regulate the whole wind-diesel system in order to achieve maximum reliability and optimal operation. The estimated annual energy yield by the wind turbine is 55 Mwh/yr. The payback time of the demo project is estimated to about 10 years while commercialization could bring down this figure to 5-6 years.
