ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT The aim of present review is to describe the hydride generation technique, to determine on the basis of ratio nal criteria, which of the various spectrometric methods (AAS, ICP, etc) is best fitted for use with hydride ge neration systems, and to compare with other techniques used in the water analysis. It is noteworthy that arsenic and selenium, the most sought-after of the elements inves tigated in environmental studies.
