INTRODUCTION The problem of the design of reinforced concrete structures to resist intensive impact loadings has been actively studied for several decades by military engineers. Simple formulae for the analysis have been obtained. However, when accidental impacts were taken into consideration, it was found out, that the results obtained from these relationships were not valid in many practical cases.
