ABSTRACT
Chapter 8 introduces you to the types of publishing tools you can use to create HTML documents, with focus on how the tool can help (or hinder) the production of accessible Web sites. The chapter examines three types of Web authoring tools: text editors, visual editors, and converters. Because Web development tools are continually upgraded, this chapter examines how the tools support accessible Web site design, rather than covering all available features.
