ABSTRACT

The word ‘quantity’ means the volume of output from some production process given the conditions of producing and the period in which it is carried out. It often reflects the capacity of the facility. The word ‘quality’ means ‘conformance to customers’ requirements’. In most developed markets, the suppliers of goods and services are confronted with the problem of identify ing the main consumers of their outputs. They must also know their needs and be able to meet them with goods and/or services offered.
