ABSTRACT
UNTIL RECENTLY, THE CORPORATE MAINFRAME OR MINICOMPUTER was the principal repository of important corporate data. This resulted in the design of corporate disaster recovery plans to safeguard mainframe or minicomputer information, as well as to provide mechanisms to recover data in the event of a disaster.
