ABSTRACT
Accumulation of space debris and collision hazards in Geosynchronous orbit are discussed in the present chapter. Collision breakup models and results for GEO debris environment evolution evaluation are presented. Necessary preventive and mitigation measures are analyzed with account of peculiarities of Geosynchronous orbit population.
