ABSTRACT
We shall devote our attention, from this chapter on, to the study of par tial differential equations relative to the monotone iterative technique and the method of generalized quasilinearization via variational techniques and consequently, we shall be concerned with generalized or weak solutions. As a result, we need to consider second-order partial differential operators in divergence form for elliptic, parabolic and hyperbolic IBVPs.
