ABSTRACT
The commission of the European Ccsmmunity p lans the c e r t i f i c a t i o n of q u a l i t y assurance systems (QAS). With QAS t h e c o n t r a c t u a l r e q u i r e - ments s h a l l be met. Although a l a r g e number of a r t i c l e s has been pub l i s h e d w i t h regard t o t h i s t o p i c ( e . g . [1] t o [ 3 ] ) , a s s o c i a t i o n s have committed themselves ( e . g . [4] , [5]) and standards f o r the s t a - t i o n a r y indus try are e x i s t i n g ( e . g . [ 6 ] , [ 7 ] ) , a c t u a l l y a g r e a t a c t i - v i t y , e s p e c i a l l y i n the c o n s t r u c t i o n f i e l d can b e watched. The o p i n i - ons hereof are very d i f f e r e n t . Fol lowing, c o s t s and d i f f e r e n t op in ions are s h o r t l y demonstrated and a comprehensive q u a l i t y assurance system of a l l who are i n v o l v e d i n the c o n s t r u c t i o n f o l l o w i n g ISO DIN 9000 i s introduced, which seems t o ach ieve the most acceptance .
