ABSTRACT
The present chapter is mainly concerned with the relationship be tween discharge and channel characteristics since this is the primary concern in design. The whole question of flow in channels is of great importance to the hydraulic engineer and merits a more detailed con sideration than is possible in a book o f this nature.
