ABSTRACT
Olsen et al. [1] determined carboxylic acids by isotope dilution gas chromatography Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The carboxylic acids were first converted to their methyl esters. Carboxylates studied include malonate, hexabenzene carboxylate, octanoiate and octandioate.
