ABSTRACT
Chapter 11 dealt with train~ng as a means of helping the operator acquire skills necessary to carry out tasks. Training implies that operators will be helped to remeinber or work out what to do themselves in a given set of circumstances. Another way is to provide operators with a szlpport docta?ze?~t, job-aid or help-facility to guide them. The term 'support document' is not cornmon parlance and so, 'job-aids' will generally be used in preference in thischapter to refer to all support documents.
