ABSTRACT
It is recommended that the database should only contain relatively few types of observations. A minimum is defined by the mandatory information to the insurance company and/or the authorities. The application of the principle of 'a smallest efficient data set' displayed in Table] 5. will allow the company to concentrate its data-collection efforts in order to ensure an acceptable data quality.
