ABSTRACT: Iron nitrides were irradiated with 2MeV electrons in a 3MeV HVEM and with lOOkeV Xe ions in a IMeV HREM. The change of grain size, destruction of crystal lattices, formation of holes and bubbles, etc., were observed. A chemical shift of core loss electrons of Fe L23 was observed after irradiation.
