ABSTRACT
Introduction in Italy, in 1994, of general and more economically oriented norms, derived from a series of EU Directives in OSH at the workplace (European Directives 391/89,90/269,270/90), called the attention of several stakeholders (employers, trade unions, OH&S professionals, and public authorities) to work-related musculoskeletal disorder (WMSD) prevention issues.
