ABSTRACT
In the widespread application of coherent light, it is appropriate to discuss the principles of coherence in radiation. If the radiations from two point sources maintain a fixed phase relation between them, they are said to be mutually coherent. An extended source is coherent if all points of the source have fixed phase differences between them.
