ABSTRACT
Vinyl chloride is polymerised by a free radical mechanism but the final powder form depends exclusively on the actual process used. From a morphological viewpoint there are five distinct methods for the production of PVC powder, viz. (1) suspension; (2) bulk or mass; (3) emulsion; (4) gas phase or partial pressure; (5) solution or diluent.
