Notice that the model could be anything. At one extreme it could, to take a very poorl example of a model, incorporate a dart board with combinations of the wind, precipitation, and temperature, as shown in Figure 1.1-2. We could randomly throw a dart at the board and use as the model output the content of the label where the dart lands.
