ABSTRACT
Noble metal coatings, which provide high corrosion reistance, usu ally are applied to products for which corrosion resistance and deco rative appearance are requirements. It may be mentioned that ad vancements in technology in this field have been made in the develop ment of multilayer coatings as well as in the electroless plating proc ess. Coating metals belonging to this category are nickel, chromium, tin, lead, and their alloys.
