ABSTRACT

The focus of this chapter is the repeated measurements analysis of

variance ( R M A N O V A ) model for balanced and complete data. A balanced

R M design means that the p occasions of measurement are the same for all of

the experimental units. A complete R M design means that measurements are

available at each time point for each experimental unit. W e investigate linear

regression approaches for balanced and complete data in Chapter 5, balanced

and incomplete data in Chapter 5, and unbalanced and incomplete data (also

called longitudinal data) in Chapter 6.
