Biological monitoring of exposure to organic substances

The simulation of an exposure to n-hexane repeated 5 days a week has suggested that the solvent accumulates in the fat tissue. The half-life of n-hexane in fat tissue equaled 64 h (Perbellini et al., 1986a).
