ABSTRACT
The stabilization lagoon or pond is used in rural communities, package treatment processes, and with some industries to treat wastewater. The lagoon is usually put above ground using dikes built up from dirt to en close an area. Lagoons are built with a liner to protect the ground water from contamination. The ground water can be monitored from wells drilled around the lagoon.
