ABSTRACT
Technomic Publishing Co. was founded in Connecticut in 1965 by Melvyn Kohudic, a chemist who had been an editor with the Society of Plastics Engineers. The company was moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 1982. Kohudic retired in 1997, but the company remains in family hands under the ownership and management of Michael J. Margotta, the former executive vice-president. During these past 35 years, Technomic has published over 300 books on plastics and polymers. It is also the publisher of the following research journals:
