ABSTRACT

Concerns regarding hazards of radio frequency radiation (RFR) from wireless equipment in general and cellular phones in particular are receiving heightened attention due to the hazards of energy absorption in the brain and other parts of the body. Human studies carefully utilize screened volunteers who participate in doubleblind studies, where appropriate, utilizing a well-designed test performed in certified exposure facility. Human laboratory investigations as well as epidemiological studies are required to complement the experimental-oriented research and clinical examinations. The close placement of Radiation Survey of Dielectric sources such as cellular phones to the user's head has elevated possibilities of interference with brain activities. Jauchem reviews cardiovascular changes in humans exposed to extremely low-frequency fields and RFR. Cataract induction has been one of the most inculpated hazards of human exposure to RFR. Epidemiologists are evaluating the assumption that RF exposure from cellular phones causes brain cancer and other illnesses.
