ABSTRACT
Abstract The behaviour of steel beam-to-column connections under cyclic loading is commonly assumed in the analysis and design of steel structures as fully rigid or ideally pinned. The real moment-rotation behaviour of these connections is actually between those two limit behaviours and depends on the type of connection (welded, bolted, with angles, with end plates, etc.) and on the connected beam and column.
