ABSTRACT

Abstract This paper presents a review of the advances made on such issues as basic understanding of seismic behavior of steel structures, establishing analytical models for behavior prediction and damage evaluation, and developing improved techniques for dynamic response analysis. Comments are given on all the written contributions of the working session related to these issues. Keywords: Seismic behavior, Structural System, Ductility, Dynamic Analysis, Damage Criteria, Quality Control, Seismic-Resistant Design.
