ABSTRACT

Abstract The seismic response of buildinqs with steel structures, theoretically evaluated in the structural design process, may have a noticeable difference with respect to the real structure. One cause may be that of the contribution of the non-structural elements,, which although they are designed to perform a different function, in reality they have strength characteristics that can not be disregarded. This incidence may not be ignored as compared to what can be observed in similar reinforced concrete structures. Keywords: Seismic, Buildings, vibrations.
