Conclusions

British Standards do not exactly copy all the chemical requirements of ENV 197-1 and an important exception is the requirement for sulfate (as SO3). British Standards do not allow the 4.0% SO3 limit in Table 5 and retain an effective limit of 3.5% SO3 for all cements.
