ABSTRACT
The European pre-Standard for common cements ENV 197-1:1992 permits the incorporation of up to 5% by mass of a minor additional constituent (mac). The mac may be one of the main constituents, such as blastfurnace slag or fly ash, which are permitted at higher levels in designated cement types, or it may be an unspecified filler.
