Maximum values of transport coefficients are now being included i n some concrete specifications and this is likely to become more prevalent. The challenge is to develop methods of assessing compliance that can be undertaken sufficiently rapidly to be appropriate w i t h i n a construction contract. Methods of measuring transport coefficients are discussed i n section 5.5.
