ABSTRACT
Currently, most pore solution studies of cement, mortar, and concrete systems have been carried out with laboratory specimens which have been kept continuously sealed from the time of casting until the expression of pore solution is carried out. In general the sealed condition can be considered to simulate the environment of portion of field concrete at considerable depth from the surface, and thus isolated from the external environment.
