ABSTRACT
Especially quick development was achieved in the last thirty years, which embraced burning and grinding techniques. First, the introduction of precalciners gave a considerable increase in kiln capacity, and the specific capacity increased from 1.5t/m3x24h to 3.5, and even to 5t/m3x24h for extra short kilns.
