ABSTRACT
Motion sickness is a syndrome characterized in humans by signs such as vomiting and retching, pallor, cold sweating, yawning, belching, flatulence, decreased gastric tonus; and by symptoms such as stomach discomfort, nausea, headache, feeling of warmth, and drowsiness. It has a significant incidence in civil and military transportation, and is a
common consequence of vestibular disease. Virtually everyone is susceptible to some degree, provided the stimulus is appropriate and lasts long enough. Many other animal species also exhibit susceptibility.
