ABSTRACT
Because immunotoxicology is still today a relatively new area of toxicology, despite marked evolution in the 1980s and 1990s, it is not surprising that regulatory aspects have been limited, if not largely lacking, until very recently. This chapter is an attempt to cover chronologically major immunotoxiciry guidelines up to 1 January 1998. Guidelines on the non-clinical prediction of protein allergenicity have not be included.
