ABSTRACT

If every picture speaks a thousand words, why bother with the figures? Given the option, most people would prefer to look at a graphical chart or map, than a ream of dry spreadsheet printouts or column reports. Viewing data on a map brings the data to life. It becomes easy to understand and-because it allows you to see data in relation and proximity to other data-it makes comparisons easy-highlighting trends, patterns and relationships that may otherwise be missed.
