ABSTRACT
Each mineral admixture is unique, and its selection will de pend upon the construction project requirement, availability, and cost. In principle, when one is approaching the beginning of the 21 th century, no concrete should be made and placed without the incorporation of mineral admixtures. In this re gard the following statement by Abdun-Nur a noted concrete technologist from the U.S.A. should be of interest (11).
