ABSTRACT

The LIMIT test is intended as an aid to judging the functionality of the person who needs the help of a caregiver. As a result of the progression of the illness the patient with Alzheimer’s disease finds it increasingly difficult to perform the routine activities involved in the care of the household and of his own body. In order to provide the most efficient and most effective help the caregiver must repeatedly be able to assess the extent to which the patient is still able to carry out these activities. The caregiver can determine this in two ways.
