Minimal Submanifolds

Let F" ben-dimensional submanifold in Euclidean space E 111 • We say F" is a minimal submanifold if for any sufficiently small domain U in F" the variation with fixed boundary of its n-dimensional volume is equal to zero . We are going to find the necessary condition for the manifold to be minimal.
