“Come on, Allie, say yes!” Jennifer and Megan have been worried about Allison since she
returned from her grandparents’ summer home a few weeks ago. Allison is depressed and doesn’t want to go out with her friends because her new boyfriend Barry hasn’t called once and won’t return her calls. She just isn’t her usual, outgoing, fun-to-be-with self. Even the brand new sports car Allison’s parents gave her for her 16th birthday last week hasn’t aroused much enthusiasm. Allison’s friends are determined to get her back into circulation and cheer her up.
