Is selling abody organ deviant behavior? We have two kidneys. We need only one. Suppose that you are unemployed and in danger of losing your home because you are behind on your mortgage payments. Would selling one of your kidneys to the highest bidder be considered deviant behavior? The answer to this question may depend on your denition of deviant behavior. Is your moral sense affected by how much the kidney is worth? Would your answer be different if an impoverished donor received only $500 or if he or she received $100,000?
