ABSTRACT

It seems unfair that really happy folk get happier, while unhappy folk seem to become only less happy-unless you are the happy one, of course.

Lucie finds herself to be happier by the day, not because life is easy, but because it is incredibly interesting. Her positive personality has been an asset all her life. It seems that any two people can be faced with the same situation, and one of them will be terrified by it, while the other is thrilled. She wonders what makes the difference. Why should she bother? “Well, it might be a useful character trait for a play,” she thinks.
