Interest toward chemical reactions accompanying friction has been growing since last years. This is reflected by significant progress in very important area of tribology, called tribochemistry [1]. One of its priorities are studies on chemical reactions taking place in the surface layer of materials constituting the friction couple and their exploitation consequences, e.g. concerning creation of protective layers, lowering wear, etc.
