ABSTRACT
This chapter introduces a few of the important coupling modes involved in electromagnetic interference (EMI) as well as some EMI regulations. Both of these topics will be addressed in more detail in subsequent chapters. In addition, this chapter presents data on average and worst-case electromagnetic emissions found in the environment-the electromagnetic ambient.
